Stir fried Spicy Clam

You will need:

Cooked Clam (available @ any Filipino Store)
3 tablespoon Vegetable or Canola Oil
2 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
1 1/2 tablespoon finely choppled ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3/4 whole onion cut into strips
Spicy Chili pepper
1 Tbs vinegar
Salt & pepper (seasoning)
Onion powder (seasoning)
Chili powder
Fried garlic (garnish)

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes


PREPARATION:
1. Remove clams from the tray and thoroughly wash them and drain.
2.Heat a 14-inch flat-bottomed wok or skillet over high heat until hot but not smoking. Add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, ginger,onions and garlic, and stir-fry 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons vegetable oil,sliced chili peppers and clams, and stir-fry 2 to3 minutes.

3. Add vinegar and cover for 2 minutes until well absorbed then stir in oyster sauce. Add salt,pepper, garlic powder,chili powder for seasoning.
4. You may garnish it with fried garlic (optional) before serving. Serve immediately. It's best served with hot steam rice.

Sweet Garlic Shrimp (Dampa Style)


This recipe is very simple and easy to prepare. 15 minutes preparation / cooking time. My husband is always excited to come home everytime i cook this recipe. I feel like there's nothing more he could ask for with this menu!He really loves this one!Go ahead and give this recipe a try! For they say,a way to a man's heart is through his stomach! Let your husband fall over and over with you with this recipe!! Goodluck!


You willl need:

 1/4 liter of FANTA ORANGE
2 heads of garlic
1/4 cup STAR Margarine
1/2 tsp salt
a pinch of sugar

To do this:
1. Boil Shrimp,soda and salt for exactly 8 minutes. Then remove shrimp from broth to prevent over cooking and keep the shrimp broth in a separate bowl.
2. Stir garlic in margarine in a medium heat for 2-3minutes. Do not wait for the garlic to turn brown.Immediately pour the shrimp broth to garlic & margarine mixture and boil for 1 minute. Then pour it over the cooked shrimps and serve hot! It's Done! SImple as 123!

Spicy Crab Paste Pasta

This blog is for PASTA LOVERS like me who would want to give a little twist to their spaghetti noddles. We (my husband and I ) discovered this recipe online and gave it a try. I cooked it once and my hubby really liked it!! Since then I experimented this recipe by adding more taste & making it more YUMMIER and irresistable...

Just watch out your cholesterol level,folks!!

Here's the recipe:

227g Crab Paste (Taba ng Talanga)--
1 lb spaghetti noodles
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 Tbs Calamansi juice
1 head garlic,minced
1 tbs paprika or chili powder
pinch of salt
Fried garlic (garnish)
Cilantro (Garnish)

Procedure:
  1. Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the spaghetti, and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, about 12 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink.
  2. Soften the butter and add olivr oil in a skillet over medium heat.Stir in the garlic til a little brownish. Then stir in Taba ng talangka or crab paste.Saute for 3minutes.
  3. Add calamansi juice and season with a pinch of salt and chili powder.Let it boil for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour it on cooked spaghetti noodles. Garnish with fried garlic and cilantro (optional).
  5. Serve hot!!
