Here's the recipe:
227g Crab Paste (Taba ng Talanga)--
1 lb spaghetti noodles
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 Tbs Calamansi juice
1 head garlic,minced
1 tbs paprika or chili powder
pinch of salt
Fried garlic (garnish)
Cilantro (Garnish)
Procedure:
- Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the spaghetti, and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, about 12 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink.
- Soften the butter and add olivr oil in a skillet over medium heat.Stir in the garlic til a little brownish. Then stir in Taba ng talangka or crab paste.Saute for 3minutes.
- Add calamansi juice and season with a pinch of salt and chili powder.Let it boil for 2 minutes.
- Pour it on cooked spaghetti noodles. Garnish with fried garlic and cilantro (optional).
- Serve hot!!
